1. The XDA antenna is pointed against my palm when I use Spb Full Screen Keyboard. I prefer the screen rotated by 180 degrees. Is this possible?

You need to download a rotated skin to rotate the full screen keyboard. You can download rotated skins from the skins page. A rotated version is available for most of the main skins.

2. How can I install more skins?

You can download additional free skins from the skins page. To install the downloaded skin, connect your Pocket PC to your desktop PC, run the downloaded skin installer and follow the instructions. You can also install skins to a storage card if you choose.

After the skin is downloaded and installed you can select it in the Spb Full Screen Keyboard options.

You can also download Spb Full Screen Keyboard skins wirelessly, directly from your Pocket PC. To do this, make sure that your Pocket PC has an Internet connection, open Spb Full Screen Keyboard options and choose Download Skins from the Tools menu. Pocket Internet Explorer will direct you to the mobile skin download page.

3. Where can I change Spb Full Screen Keyboard options?

1. Open the SIP menu:

2. Choose the Options... menu item

3. Select Full Screen Keyboard and press the Options... button.

4. When I open Full Screen Keyboard I only see a keyboard with an additional button. How can I set the block recognizer to be shown instead of the keyboard?

A new feature of Full Screen Keyboard 2.0 is that is does not open the full screen keyboard when you select Full Screen Keyboard, but it opens one of standard input methods with an additional button.

The default setting opens the Keyboard input method but you can change it in the Spb Full Screen Keyboard options. Choose any default input method you want, whether it is a standard or a third-party input method.

5. Does FSK support my language?

Spb Full Screen Keyboard can be localized to support any language. In fact, you can type any Unicode character while using FSK. All customizations are done via 'skins'. A skin is a set of files that describe the keyboard layout and look. The first file has a picture of a keyboard along with key borders, while the second one defines Unicode character codes for each key. We are developing several national skins at the moment and will be releasing them one-by-one as they are completed. If you do not want to wait until a skin for your language is released, you may either help us by submitting a picture of your keyboard via our support page or create a skin on your own. More information on creating skins can be found in the detailed instructions (a PDF file that requires Acrobat Reader). There are also some national skins available.

6. How can I use the word completion feature?

The word completion feature is enabled by default. When you type a word Spb Full Screen Keyboard tries to predict the word you're typing and complete it. If you want to accept the predicted word you should press the right arrow key, otherwise just continue typing.

You can change word completion options in the Spb Full Screen Keyboard options. Please note that Spb Full Screen Keyboard does not use system word completion settings.

You can download and install different word completion dictionaries. For example most national skins contain a word completion dictionary for the corresponding language.

7. When I used version 1.x it opened a full screen keyboard upon request. Version 2.0 opens just a small (standard) input method with an additional button. How can I restore the 1.x behavior?

You can define the same behavior as in Spb Full Screen Keyboard 1.x by selecting None as a default input method in Spb Full Screen Keyboard options.
